Now, there is a new member on the greatly- developed C- sized SUV segment and it is replaced below the Forester in the Japanese firm’s range. Well, the new model is the Subaru XV which is actually a crossover model of the Impreza hatchback, only it has redesigned body with a host of plastic cladding and an increased suspension.
The XV comes with a choice of two petrol units and a diesel unit as optional. The first petrol is the 1.6 liters, delivering output of 112 hp or equal to 114 PS. The optional is the 2.0 liter boxer unit, producing output of 145 hp or 147 PS and 350 Nm or torque. This unit enables the XV to accelerate from standstill to 60 mph or 96 km/h in just 9.3 seconds. The combined fuel economy is returned at 50.4 mpg, while the CO2 emission is figured at 146 g/km.
