The F40 was aimed for celebration of the Ferrari’s landmark 40th anniversary in the past 1986. At that time the Ferrari F40 was the most tremendous Ferrari creation ever built. This vehicle also has been produced under the careful treatment by Enzo Ferrari, the F40 founder. The production version of the F40 was initially built for 400 units only. Yet because of a great demand of the F40, the automaker convinced to build as many 1,300 examples. However the American market only got 213 units F40.

Due to that reasons, the F40 was considered as the fastest road car ever built.
