After unveiling the Mugen CR- Z RR Study earlier this summer at this year Goodwood Festival, Honda has finally confirmed about the production version of the car. The hybrid sport hatch is expected to go on sale next spring at Britain. Sadly, for you who are in outside the Britain, you will not have an opportunity to see this Honda’s creation, since the company is not planning to sell the vehicle on the other counties.
The vehicle which is dubbed as the Honda CR- Z iCF has been built in conjuction with Mugen’s European automaker. The engineers have fixed the CR- Z iCF with modified chassis and redesigned appearance on the inside and out of the car.
The upgraded version of the CR-Z’s 1.5 liter hybrid powertrain completed with a supercharger, a fresh induction system and redesigned ECU empowers the vehicle.
Such upgraded- unit provides the Honda CR-Z iCF with output of 175 ps or around 173 ponies and 177 bhp. it means the unit delivers improved power by almost half percents compared to that of the previous car. The engine also enables the car to run away from standstill to 62 mph or 100 km/h in only 6.1 seconds which figures 3 seconds faster than the outgoing model.
