Other automakers have already unveiled their own luxury creation, including the Mercedes Benz CLS which launched its luxury sedan, the four door coupe. Later on, Volkswagen followed Mercedes Benz movement with its CC, Porsche launched the Panamera and Audi showed off its A7. So is there something great from BMW? Well, it’s indeed a little bit late, but BMW has recently brought its big 6 Series into public.
The company has fixed a suitable back seat and two extra doors into this 6 Series Gran Coupe 2013 model year. In the States, the first Gran Coupe will be the 640i which is empowered by the company’s N55 3.0 liter turbocharged inline six. The unit spawns output as much 315 ponies of power and 330 pound- feet of torque.
The 650i Gran Coupe will arrive on the States later on following the 640i. the 650i Gran Coupe will be offered with rear- wheel drive or xDrive all- wheel drive supported by a twin turbocharged 4.4 liter V8 produces output of 445 hp and 480 pound- feet of torque. Both the engines of either 640i or 650i will be mated with the company’s ZF- sourced eight- speed automatic transmission.
